MY STORY
Connie Krizner

Twenty years ago, inspired by my collection of antique holiday, I began creating items that would blend with the old. Although most of the materials I use are not vintage, they are aged to appear so. A great deal of time goes into each creation, especially the painting of the facial features. Sculpting my faces and creating molds allows me to have uniformity in my work while keeping each design individual. No two are alike even though they might be created at the very same time. Inspiration comes from antiques as well as old books and postcards. In the early years of my career, I worked for a mail order catalogue company. Each piece was made entirely by hand, dated and signed. A lot of work for one person, but a joy. Although best known for my Santas, I create Easter, Halloween, and Patriotic items as well. My work is recognized nationally and has been accepted several times in the Holiday issue of Early American Life magazine. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.
