Some people collect with a passion or purpose... I can't say that's me, but looking around at all the things that make a house a home thou, I see some real treasures - true "works of art".
Why keep it hidden? Each month I'll add a thing or two to this online gallery, and tell you something about it to the best of my recollection!
Framing this photo is the footboard of a four post willow bed made by Ohio craftsman Rick Pratt. The spectacular "pond life" dresser was grain painted by Dan Coble and hand painted by Marlene Coble - featuring water lilies, dragon flies and an assortment of fish! Sitting on top of a grain painted band box by Dan Coble are two jointed frogs, hand carved by Brenda Rottman. The leaping Frog Prince with a copper crown is by Bush Prisby.
I'll feature the bed and dresser in future photos. Both have really incredible details!
